Homegrown Baking Company, better known by Sonoma locals as “The Bagel Shop”, has been serving up hot, fresh baked bagels daily since June of 1978.  Stuart Teitelbaum, “The Bagel Man“, grew up in Manhattan, New York and wanted to bring the New York bagels he remembered from home to Sonoma Valley.

Homegrown Baking was the first Bagel Bakery in Sonoma County and had the second espresso machine in town. “A lot of things have changed since 1978 but our bagels and commitment to serving the community, has not. We take pride in our product and our service.”
